Projects
A project is the document you work in. It lives on your machine and replicates to your other devices: open it on a second computer and you pick up where you left off. Both copies keep working when the network does not.
What a project holds
- Patches: the graphs that make sound.
- Modules: the DSP those graphs are built from.
- Samples: recorded audio, with its trim and playback parameters.
- Sequences: note and trigger material on a grid.
These nest inside one another as a tree, and anything in the tree can own anything else. That is how a patch carries the modules it depends on instead of pointing at a global folder of them.
